What's in your (vegan) freezer?

What's in your (vegan) Freezer?
Started by Billy

Here's how it works:

  1. Take a picture of the items in your freezer

  2. Post the picture to your blog and give a summary of the items

  3. Tag 5 vegan bloggers
I've been tagged by Lindsay at Cooking for a Vegan Lover. This is kinda fun, seeing what people have in their freezers on any given day. So let's take a look in mine.
In the door shelves we have . . .
Starting from the top left: ice packs, peas, corn, rhubarb, lime leaves, 2 extra Gardenburger Flame Grilled burgers, 1 Gardenburger BBQ Riblet, Ezekiel burger buns. Next shelf: more Ezekiel buns, cherries, half a loaf of Ezekiel sliced bread.
Ok, on the the main event. Standing up on the side I have a package of tofu sheets (I think there are two in there, I'm not sure what I should do with them yet), eggroll wrappers, grape leaves, and a pie crust. On the little shelf thing there is quite a collection: bread crumbs, box of Gardenburger BBQ Riblets (are you seeing what we have for junkfoodnight?), organic tater tots, homemade peach ice cream (recipe not quite right yet), 2 slices of chocolate sin-namon cake (from EDBV), dumpling wrappers. On the base of the freezer there is a bag of sliced bread that I think is stale and needs to be made into bread crumbs when I have some room in the container, homemade phish food type ice cream (still working on that recipe too, it's almost there), homemade rum raisin ice cream, mango, and ice trays.

DUUUUUDE. I can't believe how much room there is in your freezer!!!! Mine is packed so full that you pretty much have to eat something if you want to put something in there.

You pesky tagger! Your freezer is practically bare~ You do remember my 'motherload' post- my freezer is CRAMMED full of sausages! I'm not sure the world is ready to see that! ;o)

i need to get one of those little shelf things for our freezer. it seems that the shelf that should have been in our freezer when we moved in has gone missing.

Abbie - I don't see why not. It is fun. Like visiting someone's house (and looking through their stuff . . . hey wait . . .jk)
If you get tagged later then you'll just have already done it. Or maybe becks can just tag ya

I'm amazed at how clean everyone's freezers are! Before I actually cleaned mine out in September, it was a mess!

Loving the freezer pics. Thanks for sharing!

your freezer is really neat and tidy. Mine is a mess. there is a lot of stuff crammed at the top and down at the bottom, there isn't anything.

there is a restaurant that uses those tofu sheets to make taro root patties. It SEEMS like they are simply made like cinnamon rolls w/ taro as the filling. cut into slices then deep fry. It doesn't taste like there are any spices in them. don't know if they freeze them first or buy them that way.

it's also used in (non) egg drop soup.
